What you do on the midnight shift
- Manage the gas station. Stock shelves, take deliveries, keep the store clean and hit your nightly sales quota — the mundane part of the job is what keeps the lights on.
- Interrogate customers. Check IDs, cross-reference the store computer and watch how people behave. Most customers just want snacks. Some of them are not customers at all.
- Survive the doppelgangers. When a fake human slips through, it stops being a store sim: board up the doors, set traps and hide until sunrise.
Developed by Bun Muen and published by Kwalee, Shift at Midnight blends 90s Americana, psychological horror and co-op chaos across 13 story shifts with multiple endings. An Endless mode is planned as a free update in Q4 2026.

Is Shift at Midnight crossplay?
Partially. Xbox (console) and PC Game Pass players can play together. Steam players, however, can only play with other Steam users at launch - Steam does not cross-play with Xbox or console versions.
