Which version should you get?
If your friends play on Steam, buy on Steam — the Steam version currently only matches with other Steam players. If your group mixes Xbox console and PC Game Pass, those two platforms play together, and Game Pass subscribers pay nothing extra. There is no PS5 version. More detail in the crossplay FAQ.

- You only have a Windows PC and no Game Pass → buy on Steam.
- You have Game Pass (console, PC or cloud) → play free through Game Pass, no purchase needed.
- Your group is on Xbox + Game Pass → everyone uses Game Pass or the Xbox store; co-op is seamless.
- Your group is split Steam / Xbox → standardize on one store, or have the Steam players claim Game Pass too.
What you get when you buy
A single purchase (or a Game Pass membership) unlocks the full game: the 13-shift story campaign, online co-op for up to three players, and multiple endings shaped by how you handle the doppelgangers on the night shift. An Endless mode is planned as a free update in Q4 2026, so the base game keeps growing after launch.
There is no paid "deluxe" tier at launch — everyone gets the same content for the one price. Regional pricing means the amount in your local currency may differ from $9.99; the store listing always shows your real price before you pay.
Step-by-step: where to buy
- Pick your store. Steam for Windows PC, or the Xbox / Microsoft Store for console and Game Pass. Match it to where your friends play.
- Open the listing. Use the buttons above — they go to the official Steam and Xbox store pages. Check the price in your own currency.
- Check Game Pass first. If you already subscribe, search the game in the Xbox app; if it is there, hit Install and skip the purchase.
- Install and play. Launch, choose a shift, and decide whether to run the store solo or host a co-op night with up to two friends.
