Are there mods for Shift at Midnight?
As of launch there is no confirmed official mod support or Steam Workshop integration for Shift at Midnight. We track community activity and will update this page the moment that changes.
Official mod support status
Developer Bun Muen has not confirmed official mod tools or a Steam Workshop integration at launch. Without that, installing mods is not a supported, one-click process the way it is in many PC titles.
On Steam, the absence of Workshop means any modding would be manual file edits rather than subscribed, auto-updating additions.
What the community wants
The most-requested mods are quality-of-life tweaks and, above all, raising the co-op player cap beyond three. Until official support lands, treat any third-party tools as unofficial and use them at your own risk.
We are not linking to specific third-party mods here - only to official announcements - so you are never sent to something unverified.
Staying safe
If and when community mods appear, only install from sources you trust, and remember that modding can affect saves or online co-op. We will keep this page updated as the scene develops.
Running modified files in co-op can also desync a lobby, so a modded host may not play cleanly with unmodded friends.

We check the developer and publisher channels weekly and update this page with a date whenever the mod situation changes. Until then, assume no official mod path exists.
